About the Band.

Steppin’ Out is a six piece band * consisting of a female vocalist, bass, sax, drums, guitar and
keyboards. Steppin’ Out has been together for over 15 years and played extensively throughout
the northeast region and New York area.

All that experience insures strong performances by the vocalists and musicians.
The musicians have extensive club, private function and recording studio experience.
The band has a reputation as one of the regions most popular, entertaining and professional bands.

The music covered by the group includes selections from the 40’s through to today. (See Song list)
A strong emphasis is directed toward the hits. “Party/Dance” material. We try to get to all the
music types, classics from every decade. Rock & Roll, Motown, progressive contemporary, dance/party music, the current hits of today. The band supports the public’s varied musical interests.


But there’s more.

The band performs throughout the northeast including New York and northern New Jersey.
Steppin Out‘s schedule includes engagements ranging from, corporate events, weddings,
festivals and clubs. The band owns and operates a professional sound system, lights and
other production insuring a consistent quality show.

Steppin’ Out maintains a “DJ” collection of the most requested songs, which they play on their breaks.
There will never be any “down time” because there’s always music playing at your party or event.
If requested the band offers non-stop band-music for your event. “DJ” like services are also available
for cocktail / social hour, breaks and post band performance.

* The band can be augmented with additional horn players if requested.
